Very pretty c1940s framed print of Rudyard Kipling's poem "The Glory Of The Garden". The print has very pretty flowers to the base resembling an embroidered tapestry. Simply framed in a black tape frame (which shows signs of wear), it has original hooks and string to back, ready for hanging. Measures approx 19 x 27cm. Complete set of playing cards, original box and set of instructions. Each card features a lovely illustration of a different wild flower - the aim is to collect all in your set. Bees and beehives happily flying around the most beautiful summer garden, full of delphiniums, foxgloves, poppies etc. There are pinholes to the corners and slight creases to corners too, but once mounted, these would not be visible. | The swallows have returned which is surely a sign that summer is on the way. This beautiful vintage poster of barn swallows and house martins, has a lovely summery taste about it. One can almost hear the swoops and shrieks of these lovely birds.
